Why people with Arthritis are choosing CBD?

Managing the chronic pain of arthritis can be an overwhelming feeling. Especially for people who have been doing it for so many years. People with arthritis are always looking for something or another relief option that can help them with their pain, help them to sleep better, and be able to do more things.

If you have arthritis pain that won’t go away, you might be curious about using cannabidiol (CBD) to treat it. Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is taken from the hemp plant and contains delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other compounds.

You might have thought about trying it. Most types of arthritis don’t get better with alternative medications, and CBD is thought to be less addictive than opiates. Or maybe it’s the marketing that says CBD may help with anything from seizures to anxiety to arthritis. It’s hard to miss the advertisements.

The results were clear: people with arthritis want to know more about cbd products in India.

Look at the numbers

Almost 80% of those who answered said they were using it, had used it in the past, or were thinking about using it. Most of the people who have taken CBD in any form said it has helped them with their physical function, sleep, and overall health. Some, however, said it helped their pain or stiffness.

A word about arthritis pain

Pain is a common symptom of all of them, but they don’t all work the same way. For all types of arthritis, the primary objective of treatment is to ease pain and stiffness and keep the body working. However, for additional illnesses like rheumatoid arthritis, usual medications are strongly advised since they help keep joints from getting damaged permanently and getting worse.

People also feel pain and respond to treatment in different ways. Because of this, it’s quite unlikely that there is one CBD product that works for everyone with arthritis.

How are people with arthritis using cbd products in India these days?

  • 29% of them claim they use CBD to ease their arthritic symptoms.
  • 26% of individuals use it very often in a week, and 63% use it every day.
  • Fifty-five percent of the respondents who answered the survey said they use a topical medication that they put on their joints, and sixty-two percent said they use a liquid version of CBD.

2. Patients are trying various treatments to help with their discomfort.

The most prevalent sign of arthritis is pain, and most individuals who use CBD think it helps with that.

  • 87% of people who are already taking it said they use CBD to help with their arthritis symptoms.
  • The main reason why 94% of people take CBD is to ease discomfort.
  • Some people who took the survey said they use CBD products for pain since they don’t seem as addictive as opioids. A few said they also used CBD to help them stop taking opioids after joint replacement surgery.
  • One-third of the people who took the study had never tried CBD but are thinking about it. People who don’t want to use CBD indicate that other medications, mostly nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), help them with their symptoms.

3. People who use CBD say they get a lot of benefits besides pain relief.

Pain is consistently identified as the most crippling symptom of osteoarthritis in all previous evaluations; yet, the disease induces several distressing symptoms. About three out of four people who are now taking CBD to help with arthritic symptoms say it worked or worked very well for them.

  • 67% said their physical function has been better.
  • More than 30% say it helps them move and eases morning stiffness.
  • Seventy-one percent say they sleep better now than they did before.
  • More than 30% claim it helps with their tiredness.

4. People also say that their general health has been better

CBD may be good for the mind and body. People who have used or are still taking or buy cannabis products online say it helps their mental and emotional wellness as well as their physical discomfort.

  • 41% say that taking CBD makes them feel better overall.
  • 77% of respondents who are currently using CBD stated it helped them feel less anxious.
  • 67% say it helps with their depressed mood.
